Relaxation Swedish
Massage
Relaxation massage is one of my favourite massages. This type of massage can really help clients with busy lives that want to have time out to unwind or an over-stressed nervous systems, that needs assistance to stop and breath and be nurtured.
I use slow and gentle pressure that are focused and intuitive to each client needs.
Using pure almond and sunflower oils with some of my favourite essencial oil blends for deep relaxation.
I like to use special meditative music that can help my clients to transcend out of their busy heads and to really relax into the sublime and almost out of body experience. Truly blissful.

Oncology Massage
Oncology Massage is a safe non invasive gentle touch massage. Oncology Massage is designed to instil a deep relaxation response for the client in a time when relaxation can be both difficult and uncomfortable.

Karina is a fully qualified Oncology Therapist with a certification OM Level 2 and is a member of Oncology Massage Australia.

Chinese Massage & Acupressure
Chinese Massage or Tuina Massage is an ancient form of healing using Cupping and Qua Sha and the knowledge of Meridians that form communication network throughout the body. Connecting Acu points relating to organs and there relative elements for better health and emotional balance.

My Approach and Fees
A holistic approach to health care using massage as a way to rejuvenate and invigorate the bodies own healing.
To gain the maximum benefit of Remedial massage is to book yourself in for regular once a month maintenance massage sessions.
​
If an acute issue has arisen then booking a once a week session for 3 weeks and then thereafter one every two to three weeks is recommended.
​
I make sure that I am in the best place for each client as I never do more than 3 to 4 clients a day on Tuesday or Wednesday and other days I fit only 1 to 2 people per day. I never over book myself and I never feel that I have to rush my clients out the door.

About me
Karina Mereki is a highly qualified and skilled Remedial Massage Therapist with a Diploma in Remedial Therapy, Relaxation and Swedish Massage and a Diploma in Chinese Massage and Acupressure. Karina is a fully qualified Oncology Massage Therapist looking at supporting clients recovering from cancer treatments.

Karina is also passionate about Yoga and Pilates and has a regular exercise regime that she has developed and loves to inspire her clients to regulary use exercise as part of on-going therapy.
​
*Initial consultation - Before getting on the massage table I like to assess the body's 'range of motion' with a series of movements.
*This provides information that helps me to establish a profile and treatment plan.

I specialize working specifically with the needs of my client so that no two sessions are the same. I can work deeply into chronic conditions, help support the body if a more acute issue has occurred and hold space for deep relaxation to nourish the nervous system.

For the past 12 years Karina has run her own home clinic as well as working in medical centres alongside osteopaths, chiropractors, naturopaths and doctors. Karina understands and values a holistic and collaborative approach to health and well-being that requires being open and sensitive to the individual, as well as embracing working with other health professionals to ensure the best outcome for her clients.

Karina has such a knowing, intuitive touch. She is able to drop-in in a way allows you to feel relaxed and safe, while she gently, but surely finds those niggly tight spots you've been holding on to!
She gently, but deeply works them until they melt under her fingers, feeling great release and softness in your being.
I walk out feeling like there are clouds beneath my feet, and float in to the rest of my day..
